The core of the GroteApproach system is a
continuous, four-phase process that includes Planning, Execution, Assessment
and Review.
Phase 1 - Performance Planning
In the first phase of the GroteApproach system, the manager and employee create the employee’s performance plan for the year based on business objectives.
Phase 2 - Performance Execution
Throughout the course of the year, notes can be entered into the GroteApproach system for tracking performance and use in coaching and interim review sessions.
Phase 3 - Performance Assessment
When it is time to rate employee performance, the manager creates a formal evaluation of the employee’s performance against the performance plan. Employees can also create a self-assessment if desired.
Phase 4 - Performance Review
During this phase, the manager and the employee meet to review the final appraisal form that the manager has completed along with the self-assessment that the individual has created assessing his own performance.
